Short Film
I had the opportunity to write and direct a short film for a course during my time at university. It was inspired by the children's book "Night Noises" by Mem Fox.

The assignment required us to write a script to without dialogue. This became a challenge to begin, so I spoke to friends and family to gain some inspiration. My Mum suggested I look into children's stories as they are designed to tell a story even if the child can read yet. Then I found Fox's book and loved the idea of showing the often lonely life of the elderly.
To create this film my professor placed three other students into my group to work together to bring my idea to life. Using their suggestions we hired an actor, set up in a team member's house and shot the film within one day, and edited over a couple of days before being shown in front of the rest of the class at the end of semester.
